Following up from our earlier email (below), please note that the HarmonySite QUARTET beta-testing program is no longer accepting applications.  We will shortly be contacting all quartets that applied, and letting them know whether they were chosen to participate in the program.

We're soon going to release a new type of HarmonySite, aimed specifically at quartets.  We're looking for TWO quartets to beta-test this new product.  These two quartets will get a HarmonySite for free, forever.  In return, they will be obliged to properly test the functionality of the site and report anything that looks amiss.  This process will likely take a couple of months.

We will choose one quartet that has someone with reasonable experience running a website, and one quartet where everyone is unfamiliar with running a website.  Their HarmonySite will have most of the functionality that a regular chorus/choir HarmonySite has, including a full public-facing website, a members area, an email system (including mailing lists), a song library, an event calendar, etc.

Notes

• The quartet should NOT be a temporary or "scratch" quartet
• Their HarmonySite will be free, as mentioned above, but they may still need to pay for any optional extras they want, such as a domain name, SSL certificate, nightly backup, etc.

If you know of a quartet that would like a new website (either replacing their existing website, or a very first website), please forward me their details:

• Quartet name
• How long they have been in existence
• Contact person's name, email, mobile phone number, town, state and country
• Details of any experience with maintaining a website - especially a HarmonySite
• Domain name - if they have one.  If they don't, I'll need to know what domain name they WOULD register when their new HarmonySite is ready to be launched.  They can get the domain name through us if they want, or they can register it themselves, with the provider of their choice

Applications will close in two weeks, on Thursday May 28th.  At that time, we will choose two quartets from all the applications, and let ALL applicants know whether they were successful or not.

FYI:  The price for a quartet HarmonySite will be significantly cheaper than a regular HarmonySite.  The price is still to be determined.
